The President/Founder of the ERuDeF Institute of Biodiversity and Non-Profit Studies Louis Nkembi, has underscored the need for drastic actions to be taken to save frog species in Cameroon. Speaking Saturday April 29, 2017, on the occasion of the 9th edition of the World Amphibians Day, Louis Nkembi noted that frogs are declining at an exponential rate, and if nothing is done and on time, the species may become extinct.

This dream heightened when I saw the critical situation of chimpanzees living in the Jane Goodalls Chimp Eeden Rehabilitation Center in South Africa during a visit in 2016. So I went online, researched and decided to join this volunteering program.

Some three postgraduate students at the ERuDeF Institute of Biodiversity and Non-Profit Studies (ERuDeF Institute), who were promised employment at The Environment and Rural Development Foundation (ERuDeF), during their matriculation, have been absorbed into the organisation. The students who officially commenced work at the Department of Conservation of ERuDeF, January 3, 2017 include Niba Grace Manka’a recruited as Junior Biologist, Angwa Gwendolyn as Junior Biologist, and Njume William Moto as Junior Environmental Education Officer.
