‘Conservation is not done in Class Room’

My recent trip to the Tofala Hill Wildlife Sanctuary, which harbours Africa’s most critically endangered ape, the Cross River is found was very crucial in my training and career. The trip was focused on training students, field assistants and ecoguards on the use of camera traps and cyber trackers in monitoring wildlife species.. Training was focused on setting up, using and uploading information from three different types of camera traps. Different ways of setting up these traps were demonstrated and lessons on how to position them were taught.
