I am called Njume William Moto, a postgraduate student from ERuDeF Institute of Biodiversity and Non-profit studies (ERuDeF Institute)-Buea. On the 3rd of January 2017, I received a call from the Director of the Institute: “you have been shortlisted to work with ERuDeF”.

I received the information with lots of excitement. It came just when I was looking for an opportunity offload that which has been imbibed in me throughout my training at the Institute especially in the domain of sustainable management of natural resources

It was only after this call that I recalled that the President of the Institute, Louis Nkembi, who is also the President/CEO of ERuDeF had promised during our matriculation to recruit meritorious graduates from the Institute.

On January 18, 2017 the Director of Administration and Human Resources handed to me a Term of Reference indicating that I have been recruited as Junior Environmental Education Officer for the organisation. I am happy ERuDeF kept to its words

My three months stay with the organization has improved my skill in professional reporting and reading habit. With this, I have been able to explore new avenues through which environmental conservation awareness can be disseminated
