Mr Mballe Samuel is now the pioneer Associate Director of the newly created ERuDeF Institute of Biodiversity and Non-Profit Studies (ERuDeF Insitutte)’s Department of Education and Outreach. He was recruited last September 1, 2017 by the Management of the Institute. Speaking to the Green Vision recently, Mr. Mballe expressed gratitude to the management of the Institute for giving him the opportunity to also contribute to the management of the environment and its resources. He promised to put in his all to ensure the effective functioning of the Department. The Education and Outreach Boss has a vision and an action plan for his Department. “My vision is excellence. Our outreach activities will be extended to the rural areas most especially to forest adjacent communities across the Southwest Regions of Cameroon like those of the Lebialem and Kupe Muanenguba Divisions. My immediate action plan now is to develop a stratetic plan for the various Units under my department. After this, I will in collaboration with other staff of the Institute come with marketing strategies for the Institute” Mr Mballe said. He equally promised to make fundraising a key priority. “The Units have been established but cannot function without funds. So we will need to write proposals and seek for funding” he explained.
