EUIABS Water Science Center

       ERuDeF University Institute of Applied Biodiversity Sciences (EUIABS) was established by Environment and Rural Development Foundation (ERuDeF) in 2019. The whole idea of a specialized university originated in 2012 when ERuDeF resolved to create the ERuDeF Institute of Biodiversity and Non-profit Studies. EUIABS has been conceived to fill the gap in the Cameroon university system in which there is no none single specialized institution in the area of biodiversity management and conservation sciences. The existing university system curricular provides no solid practical bases for the development of leaders in these fields.

EUIABS   offers specialized long term (3years, 4years and 6years) programs in the area of Biodiversity and protected area management, Geomantics, philanthropy and civil society studies.  Beside these highly specialized areas EUIABS is also offering through several centers, core and advanced certification programs in partnership with other international certification bodies. These Centers are Centers for Continuing Education, Philanthropy and Civil Society, Basic Sciences, GIS and Remote Sensing, Environmental Film-making and Photography. Other specialized centers include the Language Center, the Career Center and the Water Science Center.

Seeks to provide an up to date science and professional advisory to water management agencies in Cameroon and beyond. It trains lead scientists and researchers in the field of water resources management. It will further provide consulting services to a wide ranging number of stakeholders including municipalities, government, NGOs, etc.

      In conjunction with the Center for Continuing Education it will provide short term courses to train junior officers in the area of water engineering, drainage systems and plumbering as well as other associated fields.
